I have a single daughter and two small grandchildren so I get where you’re coming from especially as they all live with us! My only thought to you is that we are blessed to have the digital backup that’s now available to us. You’re a single mom and it’s like having an assistant so embrace it fully: you need it with everything you have on your plate!
I’ve been tossing back-and-forth the idea of flying to the states for your IACP session, but just don’t think I can swing it from many stand points. Very disappointed!
You’ve said in the past that summer isn’t a good time to send you book proposals, but it’s looking like fall is pretty intense for you as well. Is there a time of year that you prefer to receive them? I’d rather target that time frame.

Thanks for your sweet words. Ash uses the analogy of a pool and swimming and technology. I want my kiddo to feel safe around pools and know how to swim. I’m building a developmentally appropriate foundation at each stage in her life. I feel confident in this tool and how it works for our family.
I don't even have any tiny humans in my house (only cats), yet I feel scattered, falling behind, and struggling to write. I think it's something in the air. Great updates, happy fall, and I'm so excited for the session with Frances!
I wonder if the fall to winter transition feels as significant for people. I know the winter to spring often can be a bit more chaotic for me too but fall just holds a special place in my brain. I’m glad we are all in a version of this together. We are in great company!

I can’t even imagine how busy your fall must be. I’d be curious to see a post from you about how far out people book you and also the last minute shoots you might take on/how you evaluate them. I bet it would be enlightening for people to understand how far out you plan/book!
