Happy New Year NSSA readers,

Today is the Not So Secret Agent chat. Hopefully you got the email heads up a few days ago.

This CHAT is a conversation space exclusively for subscribers (of all levels for now but likely just for paying readers in the future, so come while you can!)—kind of like a group chat or live hangout.

It opens formally at 9am ET and will close tomorrow (Wed) at 3pm ET. You can pop in at any point during this timeframe to say hi, ask questions, and connect with one another.

How to get started

1. Get the Substack app by clicking this link or the button below. New chat threads won’t be sent sent via email, so turn on push notifications so you don’t miss the conversation as it happens.

2. Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.

3. You can also access chat on the web.

4. That’s it! Jump into my thread to say hi, and if you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ. This is a new feature I have not toggled ON before, so I will be figuring this out alongside you so that in the future, I can host epic chats focused on topics and featuring special guests from the industry. Today’s chat is low stakes. If you don’t make it, that’s okay! If you do, come with a question, comment, and lots of patience.
